Crit Detonate Dead Blood Mage UPDATE
Hi again, new video today with an update to my Crit Detonate Dead Blood Mage build, I made some gear upgrades and added in a weapon swap to increase clear and single target substantially. Any feedback is appreciated and I hope you try DD!

Thanks for posting this. I've been theorycrafting a crit based DD build ever since I saw DD in game. What made you choose Blood Mage over Infernalist?
I've been playing Bonestorm/Detonate Dead while levelling my Blood Mage (currently in Act 1 Cruel), Bonestorm has been deleting bosses but the clear is awful even with consistent powercharge sustain with Redflare Conduit, so I tried Detonate Dead to fix this issue (since for some reason it also does the %health damage as physical and thus scales well with my existing tree) and have been spamming it everywhere aside from bosses since then. Overall I'm just enjoying Detonate Dead a lot more in terms of effects and sound but you obviously cant make it work on bosses without Sacrifice so I've still been relying exclusively on Bonestorm for those. I'm going to use this as a reference to transition to pure DD as soon as I get Sacrifice. Thanks a lot for your indepth explanations and progression update.
