- Take damage from exceeding your maximum infernal flame
- Damage taken gives you energy via barrier invocation
- Use energy to cast your skill (and generate more flame)

I am leveling a demon form infernalist in SSF, without access to trade, I have ghostwrithe and 2 ming's rings and carnage heart amulet.

I am so far attempting the "low as hell hp with HP regen" setup and not touching the advanced tech with pyromantic pact or barrier invocations.

Do you feel overall this is a better choice, or can I make more techy setups work without super good jewels/etc that people get from trade?

That looks pretty fun.

My problem with other Invocation builds or recoup setups was that you were just perma slow walking for no upside. This works around the issue nicely.
