Temp Chains and Blasphemy - How does Curse Effect Modifier work here?
Hoping someone can dumb this down for me a bit.
With Blasphemy, passives with curse effect only seem to increase the 'curse effect modifier' and not the slow effect.
Is there some math for how many effect modifiers impact the slow, or hows this come into play. Just cant figure out what it does to the math at all.
I have the slow magnitude passives.
Blasphemy -> Temp chains has +45% curse effect modifier + 51% slow inflicted
Alone, Temp chains has +94 curse effect modifier + 51% slow inflicted
So I guess like a dummy, Im asking what does the curse effect modifier do if anything?
Thanks

I've done a LOT of testing in regards to that stuff. Curse and Aura effect are additive with eachother when using Blasphemy. So essentially 10% Aura effect Jewels will turn into 10% Curse effect Jewels. Slow Magnitude is separate and its own multiplier to everything else.
Blasphemy 40% less curse effect is a multiplier as well, so whatever you calculate your Curse to do multiply that value with 0,6.
This is a screenshot from some calculations I did for a Chronomancer support I cooked up a while ago:
And to answer your question "So I guess like a dummy, Im asking what does the curse effect modifier do if anything?"
-> It just increases everything a curse does by said %.
When you self cast a level 21 Temp Chains (28% base slow) and you have 50% Curse effect it will increase to a 42% slow (28%*(1+0,5)=42%)
It's a multiplier to the curse effect, so if it says 40% curse effect modifier it should, in theory, reduce a curse effectiveness to 40% of the value (final or base i dont know)
