Somebody needs to go to bed or GGG won't post patch notes.

Cheesecake_Jonze1

tldr: it's just the names of item bases and no other information.

4 new omens, 4 'greater runes' that don't have existing versions, 11 talismans (fancy runes)

One new wand base ('acrid') edit: poe2db says it grants Corpsewade's Decompose spell

Almost the patch notes ALMOST

Immundus1

Acrid Wand grants Decompose (Corpsewade skill) unless it's changed from the datamine: https://poe2db.tw/us/Acrid_Wand

Looks like Advanced and Expert items may have all been renamed to base items now.

Thank you! Hoping filterblade can be updated before launch.

Weatherman12071

Does anyone know if your in console , and using the following method for loot filters will it automatically update, or do you need to do anything to get the latest loot filter

eno_ttv1

I’m assuming the new item art isn’t in for the advanced and expert items?

Sure-Perspective11091

Patch notes today pls! Take my energy GGG! \o/

EffedUpInGrade31

New wand but no new staff. Sadge.

tooncake1

Has it been addressed if we could simply combine the runes for the upcoming major patch to craft a greater rune? (ie: 3 lightning to a greater).

Nickoladze1

Damn no exsanguinate/reap/soulrend bases yet

hemmar1

Awww advanced/expert naming of the higher tier versions of gear was actually something I liked compared to PoE1. I suppose it just means I need to memorize the expert version names now instead of the base names. Still was kind of nice to be able easily recognize advanced tier bases and ignore them without a filter.

Ill-Investment77071

I was hoping for new base types for bow but I guess we can get new implicits?

Tryfe7121

oh ! no more advanced and expert item. I know in term of stats it will probably be the same, but there was something with those names that felt really bad XD

SerOoga1

Fracturing orb? Without Harbinger?

Obvious-Jacket-37701

Please for the love of God make that Gothic staff (and derivatives) do Chaos damage.

torupapat1

While this information almost had nothing to do with us, normie.. NEVERSINK PLEASE TAKE OUR ENERGYYYYYYY

I'm guessing the new omens are going to work on ways tones, based on the hidden compartments one. Perhaps they will add an enchantment when you use currency, or guarantee a new special mod on it?

totkeks1

I'm so glad they found the time to create new names for the advanced and expert item placeholders.

Ominoiuninus1

Didn’t realize how many different item base types there were. Actually insane that they want to have every base have at lease 1 unique.

noxxie12171

I play on ps5 using neversink very strick filter. Does it automatically update for the new patch or do I need to download a new one? TIA

My situation rn.

AdTiny33261

Damn, it will be hard to learn all those new names for weapons and armours...

NeverSinkDev1

I'll hijack the thread a bit:

  • FilterBlade/NeverSink's filter will be updated on friday (I sure as hell need the time). The updated filters won't work before the patch is live.

  • I'll stream the final steps on twitch on friday as is PoE1 tradition.

  • This is one girthy set of item notes...

About updating:

  • If you're following my filters on the ladder (the top 7 filters), you'll receive the update automatically

  • If you're using filterblade, you'll have to redownload/resync the filters on friday once the site is updated (couple of hours before league launch). Loading your filter will automatically merge all your custom changes.

  • On github you'll have to redownload on friday.

Tavron1

Yesss, finally, we get rid of the "Advanced" and "Expert" naming of items.

Phyrcqua1

No alts, heh. Guess they're for 0.3.0

zeon01

Damn so many new item names to remember…

impohito1

why did they change the easily distinguishable normal-advanced-expert naming scheme to random base names like whats the point in doing that

its literally like flipping t1 and tx tiers compared to poe1, this is just to confuse everyone

cesarito271

Do we know if they've finally added the "Import" functionality from PoE1? Because having one massive filter file to edit is a pain :(

udo1871

Do I have to delete the old Filters?

slvrtrn1

Tangmazu's Reliquary Key

This is perhaps a minor detail, but isn't it the first time we have an official confirmation that the Strange Voice/Strangely Familiar Entity is, in fact, Tangmazu?

ishamael181

Do spears come in both 1h and 2h variants? I see 25 spears listed and "advanced/expert" versions on other weapons numbering about 12. It doesn't look like there are since both 1h and 2h mace have this same number. It just seems odd for there to be 13 spear bases that don't fall into "advanced/expert".

jrock20041

Are my eyes broken cause I was hoping to see some new scepters for my lich king

DaloMuende1

"sword spear" I see what you did there GGG.

CaptainAgnarr1

Do people like this change? Now we have to memorize which items are expert tier? That doesn't sound good.

Bama-Ram1

Anybody else getting this error on console and know how to fix it? I can use NeverSink no problems on PC and POE1 for console but get this error on POE2 for console.

“Failed to load Item Filter. Reason: Line 3: Unable to parse parameter for Class rule: No item classes found exactly matching “Quest Item”

SnooChipmunks12231

GGG: here's a bunch of item stuff

Neversink: so uh here's the actual post with what you want to know

xdd thank you Neversink for being the GOAT
