Same here 20+ maps and no unique. Specced out and 3rd map unique box.

I have never heard anyone say that strongbox spec helped them find more unique strongboxes. Everyone seems to find less.

Did you unspec all of them or just the major ones? Leading theory seems to be that the 'culprits' are the ones that increase rarity chance and maybe the one that switches types, I'm just thinking whether it would be safe to leave the ones that improve chances of boxes spawning but I don't have opportunity to test it now.

Could be chalked up to being extremely lucky, cause I had the same things with the ritual node in 0.1. Had the increased audience chance node and ran like 250 maps only seeing 1 or 2, took it off and within the next 50 I already had 2.

I think I'm specced into it, I'll check in a while.
Anyways, recently, I get a unique every 4-5 maps it would seem.
I got 3 yesterday.

I wonder if it’s because when specced into strongboxes it replaces the unique with a regular? Going to unspec now.

I had a unique box that said a unique item would drop. Only a white cross bow came out of it? Is there a timer where you need to complete it? Maybe I failed.

I commented that a few says back, but did not do the science to prove it, I've been rocking strongboxes since the beginning and the only unique ones I remember encountering was early maps and campaign. Will spec out of it ASAP.

I'm fully specced into it. Haven't seen a ventor's in maybe 2 weeks. My gold is now 30 million because of it (holding in case I find one).

I wonder if this is 0-1 classic bug on dev side of things.

I.e. 40% increased chance of getting strongbox is actually calculated like: base chance * 0.4, instead of base chance * 1.4

I think its just massive coincidence, I'm spec'd into the strong box nodes and have found like 4 of the vendors unique box, and multiple of the others xD. They all dropped absolute shite tho 😂 so really not worth using atlas passive points for them..

I genuinely just did this last night, unspecced strong boxes into shrines and found 2 unqiues within 10 maps

At this point I'm pretty sure the magic/rare strongboxes make the unique boxes much rarer. I got like 5-6 unique boxes in my last 50 maps while specced fully into strongboxes.

Does this possibly also apply to Baryas? Is every single part of the Atlas tree broken? I did 9 or 10 Desert maps earlier today with the +drop rate for Baryas perk and got 1 Barya, on the last map

Maybe its just rng and placebo? Im fully spec in strongboxes, full t15 maps, and yesterday i got like 5 ventors. Had to go back to sell t15 maps for gold so i could at least 4/5 spin it

Neat, definitely couldn't be confirmation bias, as I just specced into boxes and I've seen 3 in about 15 maps.

So if you unspecced of the whole strongboxes would you choose maybe the rogue exiles or essence?

Same thing happened to me I unspecced from strongboxes and next two maps I got a unique box

After the loot patch the double box mechanic eludes me too.
