Spark or Arc?

To all the casters out there casting those spells, how do you guys feel about spark versus arc? I've had arc for a little while now, and I enjoy it quite a lot but I'm not 100% sure on if its better or worse than spark for single target or not, or just in general.

I'm playing elemental bloodmage rn. im using spark with flame wall. its a good synergy.

I'm playing Contagion/Arc Witch right now and it is good for clearing mobs.
