How to sustain pyromantic pact

10

Hello i come with question regarding the infernal flame how to make it viable because im having trouble sustaining it in demon form and regular form, i keep dying to it and it's frustrating me because I love the concept of it the demon caster fantasy if you will.

Right now im spec'd in demon form and infernal hound because of the sustain issue.

I know that you need lots of hp and hp regen to make the demon form sustainable and I'm doing a good job with that so far i also have capped out fire res(I'm on cruel)

Right now im following this passive tree that is found online passive tree link im not max level yet so I'm missing a portion of the tree right now im lvl 53

Any tips towards what gear stats to use maybe change some things to the passive tree.

Edit: i also don't have altered flesh yet because I haven't been able to clear a trial yet for the next two points but I have capped out my fire res in preparation.

Idk if it's intended to be sustained, especially not together with demon form. But your options are...

  • Fire resistance and maximum fire resistance to reduce the damage.
  • Health regen, maybe recoup to recover from the damage.
  • Reduced cost and taking breaks in casting to reduce the frequency of damage.

Or, if you're already heavy on life and life regen... Consider Blood Magic (not Blood Mage) instead.

I'm cooking Infernal flame + Grinning Immolation alter flesh eye of winter coc comet (infinite mana bomber) with max fire res. For now, sustain grinning just fine with 84% fire res (cloak of flame, Infernoclasp, bronzebeard, 2 2% max fire jewel), no pyro pact yet.

Anyway, u need at least 88% max fire res to play only pyro pact (i already tested) with min risk, let alone pyro pact + demon form. GGG needs to buff or alter the flame's debuff.

How much life/es % does it do?

I am playing reduced max life build with ES. Sustaining Pyro pact with Eternal youth and life flask so it heals dmg to my ES.
