Anyone did a monk air build? Is it viable or should we go frost or lightning
I really like the air skills of monk but don't see much nodes that help them out. Is there a way to make it work?

You will have to travel some unless you just go all in on crit and generic attack buffs. Phys nodes are a bit away from monk start. Additionally you probably want go Chonk instead of invoker since invoker is highly element based
It's just phys instead of elemental. Might want to travel to the left side through the merc start but don't see why it can't work. It'd be nice to have cast on poison or good phys skills to trigger but I don't see why it can't work especially since melee phys has massive stun value and stun is an amazing status along with bleed and poison.
I tried for a bit (lvl 65), but not as good as cold or lightning imo. Im currently a cold strike invoker, and its super fast.
It VERY much works. Air with push towards physical damage buffs, stun and daze stacking you can get through the game a bit for free.
I think we need to see third ascendancy for this. Invoker = Elemental, Chayula = Chaos and i guess last one will be Physical daze/stun ascendancy
I haven't because there isn't a fast base attack and I like speed. But I have been debating rolling my chaos monk into it for some early poison. But I can hold out and respec after I get Flicker Strike.
I started on monk but character got corrupted (adding skill gems corrupts them to unusable on the character) so I did a palm build on Titan but titan crushing blow ascendency makes shattering palm (and many heavy stun triggers) not work so I would stay away from titan for now.. it ultimately might be a valid ascendency for these skills.
