Tesla Gunner crossbow Sorc (baby's first build)

I'm a poe2 noob but I came up with this really fun build that completely rolls both generic mobs and bosses in the first story campaign at least.

Class: Sorcerer

Weapon: Crossbow

Main damage ability: Galvanic shards (and Herald of Thunder for good measure)

The shard ammunition works like a shotgun where it shoots pellets, those pellets then cast what is essentially an Arc spell at the nearest enemy target. However when you buff lightning skills or put in skill gems the effects apply to both the pellets and the lightning beams. This means that with the combination of a pierce gem, ricochet gem and sorc side passive skills that give an extra 100% chain chance means that when you fire, the following happens:

6 pellets are fired > each pellet will damage an initial target, dealing damage, spawning a lightning beam > that lightning beam will pierce one target and chain additional times on each hit including if hitting terrain > the initial pellet will then both have a chance to chain and is guaranteed to pierce one target as well, meaning it spawns more lightning beams that all individually will chain and pierce additional times > if any of the beams or pellets hit terrain, even after piercing they have a chance to chain right back and start all over again

result: you press left click and the three screens full of crap disappears instantaneously from a gorillion bouncing shrapnel and lightning beams

obviously this relies on hitting at least 2 targets, which means that while a button press will make an entire Act disappear, dmg will be pretty low vs. single target

except lol no because 1.) for some reason if the boss is wide enough the dps is actually still pretty good without any chaining, bosses like Geonor and the Colossus still melt with just the shards and no lightning beams

and 2.) once you get glacial shot and equip it with some freeze buildup and additional projectile gems, you can shoot a wall of ice around the target with 1 tap, and then unload a round of lightning shrapnel which will cause all the bounce and lightning effects between the target and the ice crystals, making it so you can still utilise the bouncing against single targets like smaller bosses, I rapidly killed Jamanra on my first try without even really trying by doing this strategy

don't forget to grab a quick reload, quick attack speed crossbow with no grenade or bolt mods, preferrably with +%elemental damage with Attacks, and socket two storm runes into it for more lightning damage

and then just close your eyes, press left click and hear the world melt

(I went Chronomancer ascendancy because the time reset ability is really fun and useful as well, also you're literally playing Tracer from Overwatch at that point)
