Is there such a thing as having "too much" elemental penetrative?
So right now I have 57% light penetrative on the tree + stormweaver with scouring winds (unsure of that's penetrative or something different) + conductivity + lightning penetration support (30%) and then exposure.
Is this overkill? Would i be better putting points elsewhere?

Penetration cannot go down below 0. If you are already having multiple -res sources already they started to get being useless at some point.
But it still helps if you don want to cast conductivity on heavy lightning resistant rares.
Give me the penetrations if you don't need them :)
conductivity + exposure is already enough, you can remove the support and the points on the tree.
Penetration does not go below 0, and if it works as assumed by most players, it happens after negative resistance debuffs such as curses and exposure.
I do not know how you have exposure, so I will assume its the default 20%, the scouring winds adds an extra 20% to that for 40%
Conductivity is 35%+
Since monster resistance is hard capped at 90%, it now has a maximum of 15% resistance, meaning you can only penetrate 15%. So unless you do not want to cast conductivity on high resistance rare monsters there is almost no reason to get penetration, unless bosses somehow have more than 75%.
