Herald of Ash or Ice for clear?
I was looking at the PoE 2 database just to see what interesting uniques are out there. I came across blueflame bracers which convert 100% fire damage to cold. Currently running gas arrow so converting that detonation to cold and freezing enemies seems pretty fun. Now I’m trying to decide if it would be better to run Ash or Ice Herald.
The Ash herald seems like you’d more consistently activate it as my damage should be high enough against trash to get the overkill. Ice shatters might do more damage though? Thoughts?

Conversion happens first so all your damage scaling would need to be cold. That’s my understanding at least.
Try it out? You are scaling cold damage so hoi should be better, but gas granades deal a ton of overkill damage for hoa. It really is a "use what feels better" situation.
