MONK: Cannot get power charges to work with combat frenzy and resonance
So this was working 2 days ago and now it is not, im not sure what I did to it. The only way i can generate power charges now is if i add the electrocute support gem into tempest flurry. If i take that out it does not generate any power charges, but if I use siphoning strike on an electrocuted enemy i get an endurance charge. So i would think that that proves that they are indeed getting electrocuted which should generate a frenzy charge that resonance would convert into a power charge, but that is not the case. I've been messing with everything for the past 3 hours and cannot figure it out. Ill link my passive tree and skills.

You are confusing electrocute and shock. Combat Frenzy generates charges on freeze, electrocutre and pin. Not on shock. Lightning damage by default only applies shock. The reason it works when you add electrocute support is because you are allowing tempest flurry to electrocute. The reason it was working previously is because you were probably using something that allowed freeze - my guess is you just changed from ice strike to tempest flurry? If not, maybe you had some added cold on rings/weapon or something that was getting some freezes.
