Questions about Minion Attack Scaling

So, in PoE1 it was pretty much if it doesn't say "minion" then it did not contribute to minion damage (more or less).
I assumed the same for minions in PoE 2, but the gem/skill menu is showing something different and I wanted clarification.
The first oddity is this:
Regardless of the minion skill SRS, Infernal Hound, Warrior, Arsonist, etc on the "Summon ..." page it shows MH/OH damage numbers for some reason?
The second oddity is these numbers seem to benefit from my "adds # to # dmg to attacks" modifiers on my gear, even if I go into the "Basic Attack" page it shows the exact same number, and de-/equipping iron rings (or any item with adds # to # to attacks) will change the numbers see on this page and on the basic attack page.
So, my question(s) are:
-
Does "Adds # to # x damage to attack" really effect my summoned minions?
-
Why does it show damage stats on the summon info page, and not only in the "Basic attack" page?
Comments
It might be a visual bug with the skills page always adding attack damage modifiers to the display value of attacks, even when they shouldn't for minion attacks.
Best way I can think of to test is to get gloves/rings with a large amount of a single elemental flat damage roll like cold/Lightning that your minions don't naturally have and see if they apply the corresponding ailment to enemies.
1- Not as far as I can tell. Currently have on get with added lightning damage, minions do 0 lightning damage. (Though the allies in presence version does work of course).
2- Far as I know, in short, its bugged. If you pay attention it will show YOUR stats in the first page, but the minion itself in the basic attack/skills windows. This is noticeable if you have minion accuracy nodes for example as the first page will show me like 80% hit chance, but the actual minions basic attack page is 100%.
It is very bugged, like if you look at the Reaver minion for some reason the Enrage ability shows it adding cold damage....to a self buff.
