NeverSink's PoE2 litefilter - overhauled, refined and actually filtering, until FilterBlade is done!
To help breach the time until FilterBlade PoE2 release (we're working on it, likely ETA 1-3 weeks), I've update my mini-filter!
It's a much more improved and refined script. It hides very poor drops in higher maps as you progress through the endgame.
It's just much more fun to use and play with from my experience!
Grab it here (huge changelog is obviously included) https://github.com/NeverSinkDev/NeverSink-PoE2litefilter/releases/latest

Any way to get this working on PS5 yet? π
You dropped this: π
(I donβt know how you missed it with the audio cue and the border highlight)
Cries in console
MVP! Even the basic one released a while ago made loads of difference. On mobile, gonna fire this up when I get home, but are we able to select and highlight certain gear in the update??
Sick thank you very much for all your hard work!
Thank you for all your hard work!
Thank you!!
Thanks !

Thanks!
Thank you!!
Thank you so much, from me and my friends.
Does this work for PS5?
Thank you all for your kind words. I'll go through the comments later, unfortunately I'm busy catching up playing monk right now after my business trip!
Will proceed working on FilterBlade tomorrow. Have a wonderful time
Does anyone know how to use it with GeForce now?
Well done King!
Can someone give me a quick guide on how to apply this filter ?
Edit: NVM. Its explained already.
Download the latest release from github.
- Get the latest filter file from GitHub.
- Extract the files using 7zip or a similar tool.
- Paste the
NeverSinks Litefilter.filter
file into the following folder:- Windows:
%userprofile%\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile 2
- Linux:
steamapps/compatdata/2694490/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/My Documents/My Games/Path of Exile 2
- Windows:
- INGAME: Escape -> Options -> Game -> Filters -> Select the filter from the dropdown box.
- Done. Enjoy.
Because you were gone for a while after your first iteration I actually had to start reading about how to edit item filters using your first one as a base. Feeling handicapped without you lol. Thanks for the filters
Awesome for your hard work. Canβt wait for console to get this!
god bless you I was monitoring the github page over the weekend hoping for an update to it.
Does anyone know when filters will be available through poe website subscription and not a file? It was the only way to get it to work on my setup.
Legend, used it since v0.1.1 and can't do without it now. Thank you!
MY MANNNNN. The size difference is huge. Very nice man. Looks great.
Thanks so much! Can't wait to try it
Does it show socketed armour/weapons and quality Armour/weapons?
Thanks NeverSink :)
PRAISE
Very nice update, still shows way too much trash in high-end maps so I'll wait patiently for higher strictness and maybe eventual filterblade integration. Thanks for your hard work.
Tha MVP π
Incredible changes for lategame
Thank you! Read the changelog, could you kindly confirm this only affects maps and has no impact during campaign acts?
Thanks mate, awesome!
Once again, you are the GOAT!
Is this only useful for endgame? Or is this something worth getting if I'm still doing the campaign?
You are A KING SIR.
Is there a way to subscribe to your filter through the official website, similar to your PoE 1 filters?
Thank you so so much! We all appreciate your work!
Thank you!
Do you think there will be minimalist colour preset? Also the original sounds of currency dops are pretty neat, would there be a possibility to add those sounds? As the you cannot control oeiginal sounds of items dropping without affecting the rest of the effects.
I've noticed with your original filter, quality items drops only get a border if over 15% quality I think. What's the reasoning behind this? I feel like armourers scrap is pretty rare in poe2 and you want to salvage any items with quality to build up a stock pile. Can anyone else chime in? Should I not bother looking for items with quality as I'll get more than I'll ever need at mapping from plain scrap drops? You get one scrap per 5% of quality on the item. I'm sorta new so I don't always know what currencies I can forget about. I have about 20 artificer orbs now at level 71, so I think I can stop picking up gear with sockets as I'll never run out of those. And I feel like you get a heap of gold on the floor in maps that you don't even need to worry about selling blues. So literally just salvage quality and disenchant rare items when you get to late game?
Final question is about scanning blue items that drop. Is the strategy to learn the names of the bases I want and ignore all else? So fast masks if I want es/evasion. I feel like each map I pick up too many blue items. I'm so inefficient with loot
Is this one highlighting logbooks cause last one was treating level 79 logbooks just like white trash drops.
Noiceee update
Thanks for all the hard work dude
I'm only into act 2 and never used a filter. first playing any exile game for that matter. Should I be using this or would it be more suited toward the late game? Edit: Nevermind I found a similar question below. Dev says it's useful during campaign as well.
How can I tweak it to never show blue and white items ?
Love the filter, thanks!
Is it possible to also filter out loot drops that are not yours while grouping? Or is that something that can't be done.
Can I keep using the last version for now? I sort of like seeing everything atm (with the filterblade highlights)
Does this highlight logbooks? From what I saw from the 1st version I noticed logbooks weren't highlighted.
I want filters so bad on console ππππ
Tag for later
Legend!
