Gas arrow explosion scaling
I was wondering, the tooltip says the explosion from gas arrow takes 100% of phys dmg and converts it to fire, but when I check some build most try to scale the fire not per se the physical dagamge in their passive tree, why is that?

conversion rules wherechanged compared to poe 1 : damage in poe2 "forgets" its parent/previous damage type, and scaling only applies to its new damage type.
In other words : the phys damage on your bow, rings, gloves are all converted to fire with that skill, and only fire damage increases can scale that (or elemental).
Doesn't stop it from being a great skill :P and you can also use blueflame gloves to make it fully cold and have cold and freezing explosions if you like that (easier to get cold nodes in ranger area on the tree too)
