Do I understand it correctly? % increased energy shield vs % increased maximum energy shield
Just wanted to make sure I understand it correctly. Tried to find it elsewhere but I found the wording to always be somehow vague and imprecise.
% increased energy shield will just apply to that piece of equipment energy shiled stat and % increased maximum energy shield will apply to your character's total energy shield (before all the % increased max energy shield modifiers).
Is that right? So the % increased maximum energy shield is definitely the more desirable modifier?

If its in an armor piece, its "local" and aplies only to its energy shield, if its in another piece of gear that cant have energy shield, like an amulet or a ring, then its "global"
"% increased energy shield" on a piece of body armor, helmet, gloves, boots, or focus (that has energy shield innately) is a "local" modifier and applies to that piece of equipment.
"% increased maximum energy shield" on jewelry or the passive skill tree in a "global" modifier (because there is no "local" energy shield it can apply to) and applies to all of your equipment and other sources of energy shield.
However, the local mods are almost always higher, and these stats end up being multiplied together, so you want both. I don't think you can get them both on the same piece of gear, anyways.
