After a few hundred maps, i think we need a way to zoom WAY more out on atlas.
Title.
Just being able to zoom out as far as you unlocked the atlas map would be great.
I'm tired to always look around for MINUTES searching for one of these citadels (Haven't found a single one yet, lvl 81 with loooots of maps done :'D )
Would be great and appreciated. thanks.

ggg likes their games zoomed in
Lvl 91 and 75%, still didn't find one either. Lot of maps indeed too. Controller you can zoom out more than mouse/keyboard <.<
yes
When they announced this I immediately thought „it’s gonna be a shit show when you map a lot“.
Is the Atlas infinite? I don't want to keep running low level waystones if there's an ending and miss out on potentially having ran the same maps on much higher waystones.
Personally think the atlas needs a reset mechanic. Maybe something you work towards that gives some benefit but resets it back to 0. Its way too cumbersome as is
The maps looks very beautiful but it honestly could do with some readability improvements, even if that impacts the aesthetics of the map. In my opinion, anyway.
Agreed, but they already stated the system needs a LOT of refinement still for the Ui, I think they said the search bar was added just before the announcement. So I think a lot of QoL features for the stlas are only a matter of time, zoom out, biome screen, searching for all kinds of biomes, maps, curios etc.
And a search! WE NEED A SEARCH
One better, just give me an old school tree menu. I’m tired of scrolling around the map looking for what I may have open, give me a list. Lists are nice. They’re compact and informative. Show me the nodes I have available, take me to that point on the map when I highlight it, and let me activate that node then and there.
A map looks nice, but the lack of navigation options is just stupid.
Search function would go insane
Yes, and please let us just socket the precursor tables into the towers without needing to run it; I can even agree on 30% fewer towers on the map in that case.
Zoom + search.
What’d I’d love is an Age of Wonders style zoom out map. Where we can see our nodes, completed nodes and towers, poi’s etc. i’d also love a search function to find my favourite maps or maps with breach and/or a map boss
I’m lvl 92, didn’t see a single citadel, and it’s really hard to look through the whole map
it would be neat if you zoomed out enough then the art style would change into a 2d, hand-drawn style map like in the acts.
also, there needs to be some kind of rewarding/satisfying visual for when you clean corruption from an area. the fog lifting as you explore is a good start, but i wish there was something that tickles my brain when completing maps. like how the poe1 atlas gets drawn in and colored as you progress.
lastly, the icons for completed maps should disappear. they add a lot of clutter to the atlas and there is no reason to ever click on maps that you already completed.
Game needs a zoom out in almost every aspect imo.. Traversing down in a map doesn't feel good at all..
Need the ability to scroll around with the keyboard rather than click and drag. Also need the ability to search/highlight existing nodes.
I've posted this several times and gotten no traction. This is really important AND when we put a tablet in a tower it needs to show the range that it can effect maps before we hit influence.
It sure would be nice to be able to zoom out 4-5 times farther so I can actually SEE the atlas.
It's so pretty and I love the way it looks, it reminds me of Heroes of Might and Magic.
90 and no citadel in sight
Few hundret maps done and you only lvl 81
Honestly I need a boat in my atlas so I can get across the damn water to tainted paradise
I think it should let us zoom out at least 2x more than we can now and turn off the terrain so it won't be a performance issue. Just show land and water plus a bunch of dots and towers. It should also show citadels - or at least let us put markers on the map as reminders. That way you can leave a few good map in a place you've buffed a few towers and come back to it later. Or if it doesn't automatically mark a citadel you can do that and find it easily when you decide to run it.
