Shattering Palm build?
I really like this skill...anyone have an idea for an unarmed build + basic attack + projectiles?

You can't at the moment. Shattering palm has like 180 base damage. That's going to be really hard to scale, without unarmed specific uniques (which aren't in the game yet as far as I know).
Just to compare an average endgame quarterstaff would easily have double the base damage, which is then multiplier by skills base damage multiplier. They easily do 10× more damage than you would ever get with an unarmed build at the moment.
May be you can scale with Collapsing Horizon uniq staff. it gives +4 ele skills and %100 ead.
+All melee skills on amulet can help too.
Since the staff gives ele skills it buffs your spells too.
you can trigger cast on freeze cast on shcok spells eaiser thanks to "Trigger skills refund half of Energy spent" with that uniq staff.
but mana could be a way bigger problem. Probably you need to invest mana.
There is no real way to do a pure unarmed build atm. They have said support for unarmed will come at a later date. You would be doing practically no damage.
I've been playing a melee-heavy build that makes good use of it to freeze and shoot out many projectiles/waves with Invoker, here is the "shell" of it
- Tempest flurry for triggering on-attacks like staggering palm projectiles/charged staff/elemental expression
- Charged staff
- Shattering palm (jump from pack to pack with it and shatter everything even without ice strike)
- Staggering palm for the projectiles
- Siphoning strike for dashing and building stun for staggering palm and generating charges
- Tempest bell
Grab the Unarmed cluster on the right side of the tree to get a huuuge dash, atk speed and area of effect to increase shattering palm's ice shards/explosion.
With the unarmed cluster you'll be jumping from pack to pack with much bigger range than ice-strike.
Maybe something like this is what you're looking for OP? Tried making my monk a pure mapper and came up with this, it uses the Polcirkeln ring & Herald of Ice and a bunch of the nodes on tree that increases dmg/crit against enemies on full life. It does fine against t16 rares but struggles on bosses, could possibly replace frenzy charges for elemental overload ball lightning on bell to bandaid fix that.
