Stormweaver Archmage - Spark vs Lightning Conduit
Hi guys,
Looking to get some input from people who may have tried switching from Spark to Lightning Conduit and/or vice versa.
I'm currently playing Captain Lance's Spark variant and it's felt fairly good for the most part up to T15/16 maps, but I've been watching some videos of the Lightning Conduit version (primarily Lexyu's videos) and the clear looks fairly comparable while also having absurd single target (seeing hits of 6 mill+ basically 1-2 shotting bosses).
Is there something obvious I'm missing here, or is the Lightning Conduit variant just generally stronger? The build planner doesn't appear to have any additional pieces that blow out the cost compared to Spark, and it looks fairly similar in terms of passive tree.

one thing if u want use LC is...get 60 spirit and socket in "cast on shock",u get spark hype and LC hype the same time XD
and one more tip,it's good watching people using 2-buttons playing around and u know what i mean...it's 2-button
Lexyu’s build is definitely less tanky, as he only has ~half of the effective hit pool of a CI MoM sparkler. Other big issue is also play style, two button ball lightning + lightning warp isnt for everyone. Main passive tree changes are focusing on shock magnitude and potentially meta gem / shock chance nodes (if CoS). IMO CoS is the way to play LC.
Why not both ? Get a high ES, +60 spirit chest, invest in shock magnitude on tree, get double shock ascendancy and you're set.
