Dark Effigy build

Hello reddit, wanted your opinion on my build.

Basically i apply 3 chaos dot (contagion, essence drain, and decaying hex) to make the totem hit 3 time at once.
My chaos curse also have trigger bloom and heighened curse which add lot of aoe damage.
And finally i use withering touch on Chaos bolt to stack withered on anything that doesn't die in 1s once the totem is up(boss or yellow).
I also use whitering presence obviously for more "base" damage.

Lastly i have some archer minion which apply poison/break armor, some melee for tanking, and loyal hellound to add an ignite. While they can kill stuff tbh there mostly here for the flavor and to tank.

I'm planning on going demonic possession, but haven't just yet. Not sure how the missing weapon will affect my spirit ?

While this will never be the fasted build since you have to use 3/4 spell to clear a pack, i think it does really good damage while tanking any fast moving mob. Haven't mentionned it yet but i do use unearth to spread the congation.

I've added my passive tree, basically i took every chaos/spell damage with some ES along the way, and now going for the withering nodes, any suggestion or point i should absolutely take along my way ?

I tried something simmilar but its to many skill to get the dps going, you will be dead before you have your totems out.

I started on Dark Effigy when EA went live. At the time, you leveled as Chaos Dots and everything felt pretty under-tuned. Now in maps, I'm running 4 Dark Effigy totems with tons of scaling and damage is severely limited by Dark Effigy quality being bugged. Also, the last tuning patch skipped Dark Effigy and only buffed your dots (and you don't really care about their damage). Dark Effigy counts poison stacks, so while clear might be comfortable using Chaos DoT spells for now, eventually you'll want to chain off of multiple poison stacks and use the chaos dot spells for bosses and to apply freeze. The build is functional and the only spell totem option in the game, but it's grossly under-tuned and bugged compared to almost any other meta build you could be playing.
