This is my take on Barrier Invocation Infernalist. We're using pyromantic pact to inflict a large hit and fill up energy for barrier invocation. This lets me send out 3 volleys of comets which triggers the pact again and repeats. I don't have a full guide or anything, but just a a short showcase on how it works. The hit from the pact going off is fire based and reduced by fire resistance. It can also ignite you. So we're balancing max ES, energy gain, and using fire resistance as a lever to alter the damage. I'm sitting at +330-340 ES recharge rate delay modifier, 85 fire res% and 10k ES to make it work. Using all rare items ES/Life resistances, a body armour with ES recharge implicit and 60% reduced ignite duration. I'm using an against the darkness jewel with max FR and reduced ignite duration to stop ignites completely.

There are some more powerful versions that use life recoup and eternal youth for recovery instead. I'm still playing mostly without spoilers, and haven't done pinnacles or anything but doing well in t15-t16 boss maps with 4 boss points.

I've done the math myself for my build but its tailored very specifically to meet certain requirements. In my video link I've added Deranged_Engineering who outlines the breakpoints. There's another build by Imnphil who has a that's based on life recoup and seems to do endgame content better than mine. There might be more out there but I haven't looked too much.

I don't really make videos so this will probably be it, but it's been a lot of fun trying. If people are interested I can try to make a guide, but it's going to take awhile. Thanks!

Pretty interesting setup. I wanted to make one, but as I'm playing SSF, i'm quite far from the gear I need. However, my take was a bit different, as it would be around using ghost shroud (which is procced by infernal flame) and reduced duration (forthcoming + anoint of Near at hand + fast forward is around 1.1s ghost shroud cooldown). The goal was 2K life (half reserved) + 4-5K es and the rest being pure evasion. So instead of relying on quick recharge, you would be relying on ghost shroud, and stay at 100% ES all the time instead.
