How does elemental discharge support work?

Im probably looking in the wrong spot in the gem info tabs, but can't really find much for it...
What sort of cooldown does it have? What aoe? What damage? Even the base gem level info would be great!

It's in the advanced info, I believe you can hold down Ctrl or shift or something to move your mouse over advanced info, it does damage based on your intelligence, based on the status it removes. I was using spark / flame wall for a while to proc ignite on the enemies, and then to remove the ignite on the next hit. It's nice because spark can't apply status ailments, but flamewall on the spark can. I will be trying this is ball lightning when I get to that level tomorrow but it should be stronger then spark for single target
