I’m new to Poe but apparently you can fall off of the map?

For that boss, it’s actually a feature.

That's weird when it does that to me it teleports me back up every time with no damage maybe a bug that's unique to you

You can't. It's just a visual bug that last 1-2 seconds, you are still on the platform and died to enemies. Happens a lot on that Boss and rarely in other places.

There's so many bugs with terrain.

You can walk out of most areas with wasd just by shimmying up against a wall until you glitch up

In that fight, for sure

I fell a ton of times and I just got brought back up. Never died from it but maybe I am playing on Normal so its easier

It happend to me, but i went right up on the floor for some reason, didnt even lose health or anyhting.

My character fell like 3 times but just went immediately back up withouy taking damage 😐

Just happened to me yesterday. Right after defeating the boss, the camera suddenly dropped down and I couldn’t see anything, and ended up dying to the creeps when the camera moved back up. Luckily I didn’t have to redo the fight, but all the drops (except for the quest item) were gone when I went back.

I had this too, but felt back on the platform

That looked like an uppercut from Mortal Kombat right into the spikes.

I’ve done a leap slam at the boss before with my Warrior and missed the boss completely and fell off and died lol

You know, I hadn't tried it yet. And seeing you do it convinces me that that was the right decision.

I always telephoned back to the map. I would fall off expecting immediate death but I would finish the dodge roll like nothing happened. Sucks you died on it.

Glitch gremlin !!!

Bone storm (my main boss skill at the time) wouldn't even aim at him, it mostly just went the complete opposite way ha.

Funnily enough, whenever id fall my character shot back up, I thought that falling off was a glitch because I never died, id fall like you did then shoot back onto the platform.

I got glitched in tye sky was flying for tge rest of the bos fight lol he couldnt hit me

New player here as well, just beat this fucker after 4 attempts due to server ping and my laptop having a fit

Stand near to the boss, best strategy for that guy

Use it while you can... I've had it save my arse before.. I also am not a fan of this boss.. easy to miss the mechanics , but those freeze bugs suck.. I did it though.. I slogged through

This map in particular makes me anxious even though I know I can’t walk off the edge

Don't worry you can't fall. When you fall you teleport back up. But that boss is bugged and 1HKOs with hitboxes that are also bugged. You would have died in that spot regardless.

good feature

I don’t fall off the map, I fight ontop of the giant’s head. My rogue friend asked what I’m doing up there.
