POE2 - MIRROR OF KALANDRA BROKEN AND NOT COPYING

3413

Hello Everyone,

My friend and I attempted to mirror a rattling sceptre, and after it was done, he traded to me the mirrored version, it was lacking the skeleton minion stats. The item level also changed from lvl78 to lvl64.

At the time, I was lvl 75 and the rattling sceptre was lvl 78 after copy, when trading, it didn't show the warrior minion skill after trading. Once I teleported out to my own hide out, the item became lvl 64 as shown in the screenshot.

TL;DR: Mirrored Item, after trading skill missing, after changing location, item level changed (from lvl78 requirements to lvl64 requirement)

here are the screenshots of the items:

Item after it was traded: https://ibb.co/wCYXfqK
Item after teleporting out of hideout: https://ibb.co/gTCtbZL

Plot twist

Your friend scammed you

DPP-Ghost28

Thank God you told me before I used up all of my Mirrors.

Oh, wait. I have none 😭

Scyraspect4

Remember to type /bug and give them the number when reporting bugs like that

Shimazu_Maru3

78 was the Initial reuqirement of the skeletal Warrior lvl 18 Skill.

After zoning it got deleted entirely and took the Level requirement of the highest Tier Mod. Intersting

Ragnapocageddoclysm1

Did it also get rid of the attribute requirements? Looks like it, must be tied to the skill and not the item itself. If so, this could actually be beneficial to builds that want to use a sceptre just as a spirit stat stick.

Omegamoomoo1

This is super interesting.

When equipped it still doesn't give it to you?
What if you go back to the guy's hideout, etc.?

Super weird bug.

LegendaryStatus1

When you trade sceptres it doesn’t show the inherent skill that should go with it, it only shows up after it’s in your inventory. I had this experience when trading on a witch.

After it’s in your inventory does it still not have the skeletal minion stat? It might appear as lower item requirement until that stat populates in your inventory.

SgarroVIX1

I wonder if the game processes skills in a different way, like a separate item instead of an implicit of sorts

thelongernight1

Seems like it might be a round down tied to level scaling?

emmanuel5731

i think that im done with poe2 at the moment and will just wait patiently for the bug fixes and updates :)

Give this man a mirror

Far-Possession-33281

You could have given me the mirror and that wouldn't have happened

fandorgaming1

First ever mirror used? lmao!!!!

afriendlydebate1

oh haha it doesnt mirror the inherent skill gem that's gold.

BigBadBodyPillow1

You hold a relic, soon to be lost to time. Some Asian collector will buy this for $50k or something in 10 years

Blackdedi1

do you have any video? maybe he just clicked wrong item?

IamStinkyChili1

This is why we have EA.

IUpVoteIronically1

All this talk of mirrors and new players are gonna think these things are actually fucking obtainable.

skully331

during levelling i exalt slammed like a level 45ish ring and it brought the required level up to 52, past my current level 😭 is this normal?

laosguy6151

Bro you got scammed, switchcaro .... He kept both copies lol

HotBlondeIFOM1

Holy scepter

Similar issue when deferring a weapon with the new skill implicit in a ritual. When the item reappears tje implicit is gone. The storage for deferred items or the copy function into the storage forgets the implicit. And yes, this alters the item requirement because the implicit has often the highest one dictating the requierements.

Absolutefury1

This has happened with ritual, i bought a Staff with 50% cast speed for the buff. As soon as I get it the skill I needed to boost damage was missing. Did it twice.

DiggleDootBROPBROPBR1

I'm not sure if this is related to the glitch where the implicit appears deleted on a sceptre purchased from a ritual sometimes.

The odd thing with those is that I've found they appear normally on the trade site, and on being traded to another player again the implicit will reappear for them.

I was buying really nice minion sceptres for 5ex, because the players selling them thought that the malice aura was bricked off the item permanently. The aura re-appeared when I traded for it and I'm presently using a functional one.

Can you experiment with your friend a little more? Maybe get the sceptre onto a different account and confirm that the implicit still isn't there?

MascarponeBR1

Honnestly ... the minions aren't that important no matter what the build guides tell you. you can always cast the offering on one of your others minions without a huge downside

--Shake--1

I wonder if the skill being socketed or not affected it.

SunstormGT1

Level requirement probably changed as it was required for the lvl18 Skeleten Warriors. So this makes me think if it was intentional not copying the skill.

Rumstein1

If you equip it, do you get the skill still? If you trade it back, does the skill return?

HiddenoO1

Have you actually equipped it on a character (that's 78+) and checked whether it is actually missing?

I've bought some sceptres before I could equip them and they wouldn't show the skeleton minions until I could.

Cautious_Classic_6501

Don't worry guys. I'm dropping mirrors, but not like I could see them without a loot filter on console.

vheadyboyo1

RMT mirrors don't work properly

GreedyGundam1

Damn when they fix it, make one for me too

Mikey_Mac1

Did the you get the mirror from Wish.com?

Flat_Shape_34441

vaalstreet getting what they deserve EAT THE RICH! /jokes.

Cold_Equipment_21731

maybe the skeleton was actually a vampire

LittlePocketHero1

Rich problems. Lucky that I Will never worry about stuff like this.

Futilizer1

Did you try it on and see if it still applied the effect even though it's not visible on the item?

Rough-College69451

It removed the skeleton warrior lvl 18 which put the scepter at 78 lvl req so the scepter then became lvl 64. Weird.

Rip your mirror.

v43havkar1

I only wonder if lack of this skill bricks item for Your build?

Sad it happened to You

RTFMorGTFO1

GGG must have failed to update mirror code to account for the Skill property when they introduced it. Because the new inherent weapon base type Skill is neither implicit nor enchant. It’s something entirely new.

Clearly Chris owes you a mirror.

Powerful-Tailor30631

Well, it seems like the mirror code is bugged.. i guess you deserve a mirror as compensation to discover this bug

ael001

Hate it when that happens to my mirrors
