That's brutal, that he did that and that things are setup such that despite him being out of the party he can still tank the run for the party.

Things like this are what push people away from being kind and doing things in global chat and towards things like TFT.

Fyi you can tp out from the boss room and invited party members will spawn right inside the boss room

Good, carries shouldn't exist and certainly not for free.

Edit: Not to say the guy triggering the traps is in the right, he's not. But, giving out free carries is kinda robbing players of their normal progression.

I've done a lot of volonteer social work helping chronic sick people handle government. And I sometimes get blown away by oeople and their rudeness. It learned me to just walk away.

This kinda shit is why I've just started trusting my gut in games. If someone starts giving the vibes that they're gonna be an insufferable shithead, I'll either just remove them immediately or fuck off myself.

Far, far, far, far too many times they've actually been the insufferable shithead I thought they'd be, and those wasted hours and the frustration just isn't worth it. I feel like an asshole for doing it sometimes, but it's considerably reduced the number of frustrating group experiences I've encountered in games in general.

Anything other than gratitude should be met with a clean and sharp go fuck yourself.

Thanks for doing these things, some people simply will never have the build to be able to pass it as it currently stands, so having a community member help out holds a lot of value.

I was being carried for free by a farmer through the final boss, and I missed the message to stay out of the arena. Well, I didn't know the mechanics and stepped on every single trap killing the run. I felt terrible, like a complete noob despite 1000+ hours in POE1. I tried not to watch streamer content to enjoy the game more.

I had no idea honor was shared... kinda dumb, because then why would you ever party a trial run?

Since im getting stronger in game, i planned on doing sth like this.

I met someone who paid for their 3rd and we actually had a chat and got along pretty well

I offered their 4th for the same price of the 3rd because decent people in video games nowadays are too few and far between (this was back when 4th was costing 1.5d iirc)
