This is really cool, but honestly I feel like I'm just randomly doing stuff when I'm adding weights. How does the "weight" of % resist compare to DPS? I mean, I typically need a certain minimum threshold of basic stats, resist and spirit, and then maximize values that increase DPS, mana and health. I don't understand how logic like that translates to relative weights.

Is there an easy way to copy an item from the trade site and paste it into POB or do you have to craft the item in POB?

Don't forget to adjust the filter until you're seeing less than 10,000 results - if you don't then when you sort the items you may be missing some. If there are 20k results and they only gice you 10k you're missing half your options.

How can i copy items from trade to pob?

Auto weight is bad, for weapon its always favor the + to skills level and of course it would have higher dps even though your mana gone in 2sec, and for the armor and accessories its doesn't care about your resistance. 

How do you do step 6? Is there a way to copy paste an item from the trade site into POB?

Can you clarify on Step 6, how do you add/copy an item from Trade to PoB before buying it? Or do you just create it in PoB manually.

Does PoB2 really automatically calculate +gem skill levels? I tried entering my char and only managed to get the skill dps to be the same as the sheet dps of the skill when I manually add in +skill levels on my own

You can copy paste gear from the gene, no need to manually enter

You can Ctrl + C on items in your inventory and paste them directly into PoB, no need to hit the create item button or enter them manually

I'm too lazy to manually input my characters so I'll wait until importing is available. For now I just manually to my weighted sums with minimum thought process maths

Playing a Gemling, 2 divs away from another Grand spectrum with int to meet res cap on all three res reqs minus chaos (50%)

How do I get it to not search for gear with res on it? LF a Ring upgrade, Do not see somewhere where I can set the weights on res lower.

You should also mention choosing your ascendancy in the skills pane which actually enables assigning the nodes

I just posted a simple chrome extension that I wrote to easily export items from the trade website into PoB. This is a feature from the PoE1 Trade website but not available yet for PoE2.

Can I jump a few steps by asking a smart person if they can make it auto pull your stats etc from a assigned character?

Any chance of more tips on pob? Any stuff that isnt obvious, like what that jewel button on the bottom is for. And I've heard you can find the best in class annoints or something?

I got pob and literally went from 1,04k dps on my ice strike to 1,54 with just swapping a few nodes around. Managed to get in an extra jewel cuz i realised that i was wasting defense points and the jewel would be better!

One issue i face is that when buying an "upgrade" that POB suggests, in POB it shows a 20k dps upgrade, but my ingame tooltip drops by about 15k. Any idea why?

Can i find out the modweighting of my equipped items to compare it to the items the trade Seite found?

Whenever I'm trying to search for a weapon it ouputs "Could not generate search, found no mods to search for". Only does that to weapons.

I forgot about PoB Sum trading. Why was PoE2 trade whining that i had too many perametres again lol.

Step 8 : Keep DM and watching the seller increase the price.

Step 9: Give up on this item then redo from Step 4

Step 10 : Close PoB, trade site altogether because no seller respond.

Source : True story, a lot of PoB warrior experience it.
