Does Triggered Spell Damage work with the Greater Lightning Bolt from Choir unique amulet?

I've tried allocating skill points for the trigger spell damage and it doesn't seem to change the sheet hit damage of Greater Lightning Bolt, but as far as I understand, since the bolt is being triggered, the damage should scale with triggered spell damage. Maybe the skill sheet does not display the damage increase because it is not inherently a trigger skill, but it would apply when triggered by choir? Similar to how cast speed affects the sheet DPS although it has no effect on the actual damage since we're not self casting; the tooltip doesn't know that the spell is triggered.

Anyone know? I can't think of an easy way to test it.
