Got a bunch of requests to do a guide for my high-end temporalis blink char. PoB and budget section included.
As stated in the title, some people asked me about my temporalis blink version which I currently have invested around 2-3 mirrors into. Feedback is appreciated! https://mobalytics.gg/poe-2/profile/b001b51a-7725-4616-a3a8-91f19f1b14eb/builds/d4eeedb7-fc52-4891-a3eb-6eec2abd3627
If you are not interested in the guide here is just the PoB: https://maxroll.gg/poe2/pob/ljmp80yl
This is your classic trampletoe blink autobomber that utilizes choir of the storm and cast on crit frostwall in order to loop each other over and over. What I haven't seen too much is the usage of cooldown recovery to reduce the cooldown of choir of the storm below 0.1 seconds. I also feel strongly that lag is an important factor when creating the build, so I accounted for that as well with gems and the tree.

great guide, thanks for your work
Hi there, thank you for sharing :) I'm playing a version of autobomber on monk and basically same setup. Everything dies, I don't - that's great.... BUT
The FPS drop is driving me insane! Especially in juiced breaches. So I'd love to hear more about your experience with reducing lag. I read your guide - you say:
"~80% crit feels better." That's where I'm at. Check.
" Cast on Crititcal:
This is where all the lag happens and is likely the most controversial part of the guide. Feel free to get as much increased energy gain in your tree and links as you want, I did not notice much of a difference against single target by removing the energy gain. I did however notice a significant increase in fps once I specced out of energy gain." - I'm running Impetus and Energy Retention... should I remove these? What about tree talents, would those help with lag?
Oh and side note, what's the reasoning behind Fortress on frost wall? I experimented and it feels the same...
Can you explain server tick rate?
I am a gemling using this build and can get bolt down to .06 seconds, is this fruitless? my cdr is at 62% (10+12+10+30)
also on your helmet notes you wrote "high damage bypass" what is the reason for that?
Hi! This is an automated message posted because your flair indicates that this post is a build or showcase.
Please ensure that you are following rule 3:
Build posts must include an explanation - If you are posting a build you must include, either in the post or the comments, an explanation of the build you are posting about.
Once a mod has checked this post, this comment will be removed. If you are following the rule already you do not have to do anything.

Wand is a waste and giga-overpriced because of archmage meta, use threaded light, it's better than basically even mirror-tier if you spirit stack.
3x spririt grand spectrums => get to run 2x cast on dodge or 2x cast on crit setups for a total of 3x simultaneous metacast setups. Yes you can run multiple of same metagem and they have independent energy. Threaded light -> boosts your DD damage into stratosphere with 500-600% generic inc spell damage instead of levels of lightning spells only with wand.
In case of CoD you basically can slot 2x detonate dead with 3x supports, and energy gen is enough to proc both on every blink if you have good cast speed(as DD is not your gimped comet and leaves it in the dumpster), that basically mostly makes even trampletoes optional.
Get at least 80% crit chance for the build to feel solid.
Totally solid with 50%+ as long as you use ambush with sparks. You always have EoW to immensely boost crit on bosses, if you overspec into crit you're basically wasting that extra 10% basecrit from malice.
- You're also missing curse or any pen sources for bosses, keep in mind overkill will face full resists as it's not inheriting "ignore elemental resistances on crit" obviously. So that's easily in hundreds of more% missing for anything "resisty".
In order to hit the next breakpoint to 0.07 seconds
There's no 0.07 breakpoint because of server ticks of 33ms. It's either 99ms or 66ms. So just 10% cdr from somewhere - mandatory and a huge boost of 33% more procs as it drops you into 66-99ms bucket, anything further - very dubious. Keep your ingenuity in blink. You can't hit <66 breakpoint for both bolt and frostwalls which makes it mostly pointless. Ingenuity is competing with rising tempest at 36% more damage which doesn't have huge associated pain of annointing for 52%+ total cdr and perfectly synergises with frostwalls.
- You wasted a ton of points for random inc dmg stuff instead of grabbing wildstorm which is flat 15% more.
I found Eternal Youth to be not as powerful
No shit of understatement, it basically doesn't work at all on blood mage since paying life cost interrupts life recharge.
Cast speed is theoretically optional
Huge misconception. Cast speed affects energy requirements so is effectively better than energy gain. It's your clearspeed/movespeed/defensive layer/procrate etc. Mandatory on both rings(breach/catalysed into), mandatory source of arcane surge on crit to boost further. Then you still envy stormweaver as they get so much for free.
Personally i take all the arcane surge effeect nodes too for total 17% more cast speed from AS. With this setup energy requirements of basically every spell is halved. So 2x DD in cast on dodge proc on every blink without any energy supports.
Arctic Armour : Really strong defensive layer.
Extremely hard to fit but i could see appeal given deaths to stuns where you can't react. But even if you don'to go for a 3rd metacast gem lingering illusion + charge infusion for 20% more crit instead would be too hard to pass up.
Though if you have just 30 or so spirit leftover is a perfect option.
This is awesome! Thanks again for putting the effort into this. Really appreciate it!
Thanks for this. I see that different from others you don't mention a specific gem setup for Pinnacle bosses.
Do you just use Blink and this gem setup for pinnacle bosses? No switching around gem setups? Like disable cast on dodge and enable a 2nd Cast on Crit and selfcast Eye of Winter?
Is it not needed? Asking because I would love to not have to change my gems.
