Theory crafting headhunter minion build
This is a build I am currently using and thoroughly enjoying. I primarily run maps with additional rare monsters and invest in extra modifiers to rare monsters on the atlas tree. The Headhunter/Gravebind combination transforms my Infernalist into a dynamic force, rapidly moving across the map and triggering various impressive effects. While this may not be the most damage orienated setup, it is incredibly enjoyable, and I have no issues handling content.
Infernalist Minion Build
Headhunter: This unique belt grants you various buffs when you kill rare monsters, making your minions even stronger.
Gravebind: This unique glove ensures that your minions’ kills count as your own, allowing you to benefit from Headhunter’s buffs.
Skills: cookie cutterish
Skeletal Snipers: Your main damage dealers, supported by Scattershot to increase the number of arrows. Skeletal Reavers: For single-target damage. Detonate Dead: Use this to explode enemy corpses, creating a chain reaction of damage. Raging Spirits: Summon these to deal additional damage. Flame Wall: Buffs your Raging Spirits as they pass through it. Pain Offering: Buffs your minions’ damage. Enfeeble or Flammability: Debuff enemies to reduce their damage or increase the damage they take. Playstyle:
Summon Minions: Start by summoning your Skeletal Snipers and Reavers. Cast Flame Wall: Position it to buff your Raging Spirits. Use Detonate Dead: Explode corpses to deal massive area damage. Debuff Enemies: Use Enfeeble or Flammability to weaken enemies. Activate Headhunter Buffs: As your minions kill rare monsters, you’ll gain powerful buffs from Headhunter.
Defensive Layers:
Energy Shield: Focus on items that provide a large pool of Energy Shield. Grim Feast: Use this defensive aura to double your Energy Shield while mapping. High Block Chance: Equip a shield with high block chance to survive dangerous encounters. You can add eye of winter or ball lightning for extra damage.
Often, the most enjoyable builds are not necessarily the most powerful in terms of raw strength but provide a unique and engaging playstyle. Sometimes your goal is to achieve an excellent balance between enjoyment and effectiveness.
If anyone has any other ideas I would like to hear. I was thinking of adding behead support do my minions get the mods also.
