best ascendancy for crossbow
thinking about making a build with galvanic shards for clear and shockburst/plasma for bossing. so the things that comes to my mind Deadeye is probably fastest. Invoker/Gemling is probably best for DPS with great gear. i havent heard anything good about Witchhunter and im sure u can even make something with Stormweaver but im not really good at pobbing stuff so i would appreciate any info from people with knowledge.
Current budget: 10 Div + okay breach rings, howa and rarity/attributes morior
probably can hit around 300dex and 500int with my most items but i dont have to stat stack if it wont be great with that much attributes

I saw a blood witch play crossbow. But I guess that's not optimal. You do get really high crit rates though.
big daddy has a build for monk that looks insanely strong and smooth to play (as far as crossbows go coz ya know.. still have to reload)

Witchunter has the best budget build because of cull and that helm with doubles cull threshold. That with the explosion node makes you have infinite clear with bad gear. Its taken me something like 50+ divs to get back to that level of clear as an invoker crossbow which i switched from witchhunter, not because its not good, its just not as fun to experiment with stuff because the ascension is so straightforward.
Awesome clear from ascension means you can focus on single target burst. Get that lvl20 skill gem, 6link for shockburst etc. youll be fine with 4 supports for galvanic. You dont even need the hoi interaction because you have the explosions so you save on spirit too.
Witch hunter is a no-brainer for this build as a leaguestarter imo but if you've got a character at t15s already, or maybe even just as general advice this late into the wipe, I think deadeye is far and away the best option. Gemling can get really tanky but deadeye scales damage much better than it and also gets to like 50% movement speed naturally even with morior's which is awesome & not something you can replicate elsewhere. I have done a shitton of calcs in PoB if you're curious about any of the numbers on this stuff.
