[Uber Endgame Build] Ice Strike Invoker / CI + ES / Crit / Stat-Stack / 7,5 Mil DPS Hideout

123

Hi POE2 Community,

since I had a once In a lifetime opportunity to put 25 days played into one character, I wanted to let you take part in some thoughts and ideas I had during minmaxing my Invoker Build.

Maxroll Guide (Items, Passive Tree, Skills): https://maxroll.gg/poe2/planner/5j6ha01s
I have PoB too, but since the export is kinda buggy, I manually created the Maxroll guide with the Items.

I already can see the comments regarding "Currency Buyer" and so on, the only thing I bought was a supporter pack. I think from my 25 days played I was standing in my hideout for 15 days (and like 2 days trying stuff in the passive tree) doing trading and flipping. Once you have enough spare currency, it gets much easier to earn more currency. I think for most people this is not the definition of fun, but I enjoyed it.

I do not remember all the prices I paid, but in total it would cost around 1 Mirror and ~2500 Divines to rebuy the gear from scratch.

Main 3 Currency Income Sources:

  1. Flipping Equipment Items (I recommend only doing that for gear you know)
  2. Divining bad rolled Jewels and reselling. A friend of mine called me "Golden Hands", since I always have incredible luck in divining items. :)
  3. Trials of Sekhemas: (+6 Merchant Options / 70% Honour Resistance / 80% Relic Drop / 40% MS + Vase Relic (Timelost Dia) I just enjoyed this more than running maps, with the MS Boons you do not feel Slow anymore.

Character Stats and all Ice Strike stats are in the attached Screenshots:

Ice Strike

  • 6640 ES / 840 Str / 675 Dex / 555 Int / Crit Hit Chance 53,13 % / Crit Damage Bonus 729%
  • Hideout DPS: 7,5 Mil
  • Breach DPS Peak without Avatar: 19,6 Mil
  • Breach DPS Peak with Avatar: -21,5 Mil (Somehow the number turns negative over 21 Mil.

  • If I checked my video correctly, Xesht Tier 4 lived 0,88 Seconds.

Is there any reason going to go so high in the DPS? No, I just had fun minmaxing and trying stuff. :)

Further Notes:

  • All my energy shield Bonus comes from a transformed Node "Circular Teachings" (2 Str = 1% max ES) with the Heroic Tragedy Timeless Jewel. Because of this I try to get a lot of Strength, my Time-Lost Dia has it, and I took the Stat-Rings with "Str/Dex/Int" instead of "Dex/Int/All Atr".
  • I play with CI, so I still need a lot of ES bases, thats why I keep high ES Helmet and Boots. Since I still have a lot of resistances of them, i can run 60% Rarity Find Soul Cores (50% Chest + 10% Gloves)
  • The helmet has double res + Crit Hit Chance, the missing Fire Resistance gets compensated through corrupted Jewels and Volcanic Skin (+20% Fire Res) which i get through Megalomaniac.
  • The From Nothing Diamond with Resonance helps to make better use of the Timelost-Dia (6 Nodes with 4% Strength and 5% Cold Damage each)
  • Falcon Technique gets provided from the Amulet, which lets me choose a location for the Controlled Metamorphosis Dia to reach "Wild Storm, Exposed to the Storm and Serrated Edges" (Lightning Exposure comes through a support gem on Charged Staff)
  • Replacing the Kalandra's Touch Ring with a Rarity Find Ring, lets me run maps with 208% MF.
  • To fix manaproblems during Mapping, I have 1 Sapphire which has "Recover 2% Mana on Kill"
  • To not get stunned I run 2 Jewels with "Gain 10% of Max ES as additional Stun Threshold"

The last big upgrades I can think of:

  1. 140+ Astramentis
  2. Perfect Megalomaniac (Vulgar Methods + Barbaric Strength + Overhelming Strike)
  3. Time-Lost Dia with 5% Str and 5% Lightningdamage

If there are any question or ideas, please let me know!

Wow well done mate!

Probably_Fishing1

I could play 1k hours on one character and still wouldnt be able to afford the gear on that maxroll.

defiantlyso1

I might be blind but how are you gaining power charges?

EfficientMost43231

ice strike invoker is literally one of the two most played specs already...

TuneAppropriate51221

Teach me to trade, master )

One question, when you roll vorana jewel with divines, it can change only deed seed? Can it change "vorana" to other 2 names?

Nice build! I just pushed my tempest flurry over 7mil today. here are a couple of suggestions that I find useful from my build:

  • From nothing diamond with Iron Reflexes plus a strong Megalomanic with Jack of All Trades will save you from pathing all the way down to get these nodes. Lots of points saved that can be spent elsewhere for DPS
  • Preferably a Fire Ice Phys/Lightning prefix ring. The fire damage will be a pretty big bonus on your bell. And if you want to squeeze more stats a double attribute (int & strength preferably) with all stats works a bit better.
  • I find stacking up on int to be better than strength especially with Wild Storm. The bigger part of it is that it allows me to swap out Inspiration on my Tempest Flurry for another DPS gem.

Hope that helps!

My monk barely hit 110k dps on its ice strike. i dont think i'll be hitting 1m dps soon...

FunSwordfish80191

Yeah I've had about 3 divs on my monk and only had like 160k dps so don't ever think I'll even be close to half this dmg lol

Every one of these posts makes me realizes how crappy of a player I am. Been playing since before Xmas, one char and I'm just doing t15 maps and I'm lvl 87. I still haven't done my 4th ascendancy and am just now in front of my first citadel. Some people just play on another level. This is still the farthest I've ever been on poe and most fun I've had playing a game in a really long time, so I'll continue to just slug along at my own pace.

ThadenPOE1

Been playing this build for about month, it’s imo the best feeling melee build in the game..warrior for me was too dam slow… have to say this is impressive.. congrats on the items.. am only hitting around 3 million dps.. but I’ve only spent around 20 devines 😊..

Hairy_Personality8311

That’s a nice build, I just got my ice monk to lvl 70 only in T2 maps. I’m kind of a noob to Poe, & I’ve been wondering why I’ve seen people using hand of chayula over shattering palm for ice monk, does anybody know why it’s preferred?

blablabla23841

Doesn't look legitimate.

SleeplessNephophile1

15 attacks/sec? Even melting maelstrom would be struggling w that, insane build lol.

Easily the most invested build ive seen

bruteforcealwayswins1

Nice dude. Very impressive. Can I get some tips on flipping? I feel like everytime I see something underpriced and whisper them, I get ignored because they're already spammed. What are you flipping?

Food_Kitchen1

A reminder this game is still not only in Early Access, but missing half the classes and ascendancies. No lifers kill me.

CressDependent29181

Boring

Kotobeast1

I did not even know timeless jewels were in the game. Neat.

I know some of those words

>Uber Endgame Build

>Another Pillar, Astramentis, HOWA, Invictus, attribute stacking build.

Yeah good job mate. Pat yourself on the back for coming up with that one.

Salehzahrani71

Every time I see these posts I discover new unique items.

Kaelran1

I was like "I wonder if it's pillar HoWA".

Oh look.

Alta041

New strong build

>Look inside

>Howa pillar heraldS stat stacking

Zarion881

Wtf, I have 130k in the hideout and about 350k on a map. I felt strong. I'm new to the game, of course, with around 400 hours of playtime.

It is these posts which makes me thing that PoE2 need two things urgently:

  1. Instant buyout of items.

  2. Brick the items after trading so that they cannot be traded again.

No more flipping of items. No more scripts which just shoots "cheap" stuff for you. No more bot-based trading. AND you have a natural Item-Sink which keeps the game interesting even late in the season.
