Huntress Scepter build

Greetings folks!

I need a bit (or a lot) of help, anyone running a Huntress with spear in main hand and scepter in offhand for the spirit? What are your results like? What herald and support gem combos are you using?

Is the damage worth giving up the parry and defense?
