Call of the Brotherhood and Generating Shocks

It now makes sense (oof) but I'm not generating shocks anymore since I slipped on my Call of the Brotherhood ring. I am running a homebrew lightning spear ritualist thing and I wanted to go cold. I miss my herald of thunder in the process though!
Is there anyway to generate shocks once you're converting all lightning damage to cold?

any reason you wouldnt just run herald of ice instead now?
If you can apply shocked ground itll shock regardless, either lightning warp or that quarterstaff skill, but it wont be that consistent i would think.
Warp is probably easiest
