Run towards it, through the mob if possible. Running away just makes it harder to dodge.
IDK what that attack scales off of but for some reason I can eat those to the dome for the entire duration and not go below 90% of my health. But on my last character that shit had me feeling like Raditz.

Everyone is complaining about the game being hard but, you used no crowd control, no protection, no abilities to kill the guy. You just dodge rolled and hoped for what exactly
What I typically do when I’m swarmed and one of these guys start with their bull is actually getting closer to them and rolling in a consistent circle around them. The more they need to turn the less time they are chipping away at your health. Going away and straight only means they have more direct damage being applied to you more consistently since the AI doesn’t need to change the directional angle much.
To be fair, it barely does any damage and your flask was full, you just panicked

as a warrior i eat 3 of those at a time without issues. sure the clear is slow, but at least I'm not dying to random shit anymore, at least not yet :D

Well you handled it in the exact wrong way. You want to go toward it, not away, because the mob can't turn very quickly while channeling. Or break line of sight.
these are blocked by terrain and are easier to dodge if you can get close. I believe they increase the damage the longer you are in the beam

Last league I had a shield on my back bar just for this. Active blocking does really well against them even if you have low stun threshold.
Can’t run from it , so need to kill it fast xd
Similar to Piety's ray of death in poe1 act 4, just get close to the mob and run in circles.
Its not intentional i think as it can off screen you, but sucks I usually dash in and assassinate

I laugh at this with me 90% elemental resistance.
Some people learn how to avoid it from the first death. Others die few times before they get it. And some players will never learn and will always die for it.

seriously though aint it it just great that random rares have bossmechancis that one needs to have prior knowledge to survive? Sure hopping behind the mob makes avoicing it trivial like in the innocence boss fight (poe1) but otherwise this is rather bullshit ability to put on rares.
These mobs where WAY worse in 0.1, they’d off screen MELT me without a chance to react lol

Needs nerf. Even though counter is to go closer, its just not always possible with the amount of enemies blocking the path

these guys are goofy af they're designed for the sun god area that's full of walls and LOS spots but on maps like this they just fucking suck. you put stalagmites in-between you and the beam and it just goes right thru that shit
