Blood Mage or Amazon for a Bleed Build around Parry, Blood Hunt, Rake, disengage?
I wanna play classic Bleed Build around Parry, Blood Hunt, Rake, disengage. (No Lightening Spear, Spearfield if necessary only)
Should I play BloodMage for scaling magnitude or Amazon pure Phys?
I think parry is equally good on both and i wanna use the parry debuff to further boost blood hunt explosion.
I want to maximise the bleed explosions by applying a strong parry debuff for additional blood hunt dmg. Need to find a way to make this into aoe clear but later.
The Blood Barbs node from blood mage seems way too good to pass. And the ability to use spell damage and ele damage seems to give more options for later use of Magma barrier or so.
Amazon seems to be more limited in terms of scaling, more expensive to gear and less exponentiol potential. But not sure about that.

Blood Mage is the better bleeding experience because they can scale Critical Damage Bonus better, and Blood Hunt can Crit -- so you do 25% of the total bleed and then multiply it by the extreme Critical Hit Damage Bonus provided by Blood Mage Gores Spike ascendency node (and then 2x with Tangletongue)
The people who think Amazon or Ritualist do it better either don't understand Blood Hunt can crit, or don't know how OP Tangletongue is for the archetype.
Personally I think blood mage is better. Being able to use elemental damage for bleed damage is really good and aggravating bleeds on curse is also very nice.
Leveling blood mage for it is really annoying tho
My blood mage is at lv85. I have junk gear (everything is a few ex, otherwise it's a 17% TT). I'm one shotting T15 bosses with only 5 link Rake without Blood Hunt.
Imo the biggest thing they'll nerf next is Ambrosia and Concoct supports
I use lightning spear for clearing, which is nice with the lightning damage procing bleeds. I wouldn't mind trying something else

I play blood mage bleed with big crit it's so much fun. And with life remnants and Kaom's heart I can reach 7k life quite often. Go for it ! Nonmeta big fun!
