Trinity Painter | Artillery Ballista Tactician
Hello!
I recently created my first self-made build for POE2, utilizing the Painter's Gloves' unique and Trinity skill, to become a triple elemental tactician. At first, the build was underwhelming, but after several iterations and ~2-3 divines, I managed to significantly improve the damage output, which now allows me to clear maps, including T15s, efficiently. Then I encountered a wall with boss damage. To address this, I added the Attrition skill. I made some tweaks, which improved my boss damage to comfortably handle T15 bosses with +4 difficulty in about 30 seconds to 1 minute and 30 seconds (for example, Balbala can be tricky due to high mobility).
I also faced issues with survivability due to my low eHP (~1.6k), so I worked on raising my total to around 3.4k HP and ES. I also experimented with the Eternal Youth node a bit, which helped recharge ES when taking big damage. Overall, the build clears T15 maps effectively, deals decently with bosses, and is extremely fun to play.
Now, here's my request: since this is my first time creating a build, what improvements do you suggest, and why? In my opinion, the most significant opportunities for improvement lie in survivability and damage per second (DPS) against bosses.
P.S. I tried using the Coming Calamity body armor, but it turned out to be a poor investment due to low defenses for minimal AoE gain.

Doing something similar with trinity and painter. But I use the fallen formation. Don't have my 4th asc yet. The hollow mask and defiance banner gives me decent survivability in maps. But struggling with bosses atm. Tbh the only way I see forward is going with the deepest tower into low life nodes for the one shots.
But yea before adding trinity and painter the clear didn't feel as smooth. Maybe I'll try your attrition tech as well. Tho having long boss fights isn't what this build excels at ha ha.
