Level 82 Maps in 0.2
I'm sure this has been mentioned and I may not have seen it, but does anyone else feel like getting a lvl 82 map is extremely more difficult in 0.2 than it was in 0.1?
I have done I think a total of 3 or 4 lvl 82 maps at lvl 93 and on 0.1 I easily did 25+ if not 50+ at lvl 94.
Is it just me? I feel like it should be a little easier to create lvl 82 maps, trying to rng the cleanse modifier and then have irradiated on it and not even to mention if you want to get your boss atlas points, make sure you get lucky and have a boss land on the cleansed map too.
TL DR: Lvl 82 maps should be easier to encounter

It is more difficult in 0.2. I don't think there's any argument. Corrupted nodes are no longer +1. There's a chance for corrupted or cleansed to be +1 but if you ask me it's not high enough.
You have to have a corrupt map, with irradiated and it has to specifically say in the map mods that there is a +1 level to the area. Then you use a t16 map, and it has to be irradiated.
Yeah this patch killed the convenience of doing lvl 82 maps. I find 1 node, maybe 2 at most per corrupted area that have the +1 lvl modifier
run expedition log books for level 82 fodder. prob the easiest way
Agreed, like we need to lvl slower. 100+ hours on one character and lvl 92.
This topic has been frequently brought up. GGG wants you to play longer and maintain the concurrent player count. One step forward, but 5 steps backward move.
GGG should have instead allowed easier access to lvl82 (and higher) at a much higher difficulty for the extra challenge/experience with marginal improvements on loot drops.
We need to revert the chance of +1 back to 0.1. All corrupted maps need to be +1 and irridated need should be the same.
While they are at it, remove the stupid suffixes of -70 Exp when a map has +140 rarity and minus quantity. This was literally the biggest dog act GGG did with 0.2.
The Vaal orbs do NOT hit for me on the maps. The wiki says it should be 25% chance to tier up but I swear it’s like 8% for me
Even if every single corrupted node was +1, it would still be worse than in 0.1

Maybe someone can humor me but...why don't maps / monsters go to level 90 or even 100? Serious question.
Yeah it's way more difficult because so much RNG is involved now.
You be lucky if you get one per corrupted zone but I have got up to three but either way I think the chance for it to happens way too low if it's going to be RNG based. A lot of times there's zero per corrupted zone.
Just the jewel slot nerf alone is a big dps loss for me.
Yup average of 4.5mil exp per hour on ssf before and now 1.8mil. Definitely feeling it. Granted I’m level 98 and dont really need to level anymore apart from having a cool stretch goal so I just let go of the idea of hitting 100 and just play the game and eventually one day I might hit or not
I’m honestly preferring to focus on prefix only maps or T16s. The atlas map option in the top left, which boosts prefixes/suffixes is great when there’s only prefixes. If there’s a +1 on the map to get a T17, great, but otherwise meh.
I have 3 characters 91+. 1 at 85. Have all my corruption atlas done, all breach, ritual and simu 4/8 expedition and have all 40 atlas. Have used 3 boss precursors multiple times on towers and still haven't got it to hit a boss on a +1 map. Been missing my last 2 boss points for weeks. Next step is almost full clearing an area before I do the precursors but it just is so tedious I didn't have the motivation
Wish finishing atlas or boss atlas let you just have it globally. Would make getting exp in the 90s require less setup
