Looking for next build. 30 div budget lich or bloodmage
So been playing amazing and deadeye a lot and want to have a change.
Have got a witch through campaign and looking for a build. Budget is about 30 div, I do also have a sacred flame scepter.
Was looking at whirling blade incinerate lich and cast on crit blood mage but not sure which to go for.
I like the idea of the tankiness of the lich but not sure if switching gear and setting up at the start of every map is going to be annoying after awhile.
The coc spark bloodmage looks awesome but seems like you really have to super stack life to stop killing yourself and the life bouncing up and down so drastically doesn't look like it would be very relaxing to play.
Anyone played these and can comment? Doable this budget? Any other builds I should look at?

I'd recommend the Blood Mage. I've a lvl 96 Blood Mage and switched to lich for testing (twice lol) and always switched back.
The hp dropping can be prevented in maps with just a little %hp on kill, the remnant supports, and on bosses it doesn't matter bc they just die (while frozen, I use a choir/coc comet build). With eternal youth, you're basically invincible as long you have flask charges.
Choir opens up a wide variety of builds utilising different coc variations. You can use a lot of different uniques and techs, like Soul Tether and fast metabolism for es sustain or pairing Crimson Power with a Rapith Globe.
COC bloodmage is awesome. You can limit the amount of casts from coc to not getting too low and still have huge damage
i got Bloodmage coc, it is indeed awesome.
But, it's the end of the league, 40k player, inflation is huge on prices for top end gear , u will be able to clear T15 easily with mid tier items, but don't hope min maxing the build it will cost a fortune.
for example i wanna upgrade my wand from +3 i paid like 30ex 2 weeks ago to a +4 there is nothing below 10div. i'm guessing the +3 would be 1div now.
i saw the same phenomena with armor or focus. other example BIS off hand being sacred flame costing 20div (which require several jewels costing at least 1div each)
Played both. Lich is much easier to get up and running and you'll be an absolute tank. It's a chill and satisfying play style that will clear a bit slower and lack massive single target DPS. However my double totem lich was safely clearing all pinnacle content without a worry in the world.
Bloodmage is a much more volatile play style. Getting up and running is going to feel a bit messy. There are a few main variations to go for, ES is going to be the highest cost. Personally I prefer no es and all life. Stack as much life as you can. I'm wearing armor pieces with all my necessary stats with life runes socketed. Once you cap your crit and you're rocking 2.6k+ life, you're going to be extremely tanky in maps. Your damage/leech will start to outpace anything coming in, especially with a fast metabolism anointment. Bloodmage is much more fun because of the damage and unique play style. Go lich if you want to chill and cruise through content.
