no wonder the game player base numbers have dropped significantly i finally experienced a death by air. he was dead for an entire 3 seconds then I suddenly just died.

Danger isn't over once health bar is gone. Boss still gets 3-4 more attacks and there could be any amount of visible or invisible ground degen/cast on death effect. Strap in exile. This is PoE
