Having trouble killing bosses with a bow
Of course, not using lightning arrow and lightning rod abuse, i don't want to change a whole build to make snipe work, so how do you get boss dmg ?
I'm using a 300k dmg ice shot, boosted with font of rage from tornado shot and hypothermia curse, and it's not even close to enough.
It's actually quite hard killing Xesht T4 without LA or wind serpent cheese, how do you guys do it, can you give some tips ?

Currently some skills are clearing skills, and some are bossing skills. Ice Shot is good for clearing but kinda bad for hitting bosses.
I just looked up “Ice Shot PoE2” and the very first build on YouTube uses Snipe to kill bosses - why are you opposed to using a different skill that would be better suited to single target dps?
The way you worded your post you can either modify the "optimal" bossing set-up so that it works with your build or you can just straight copy a different skill if it passes your "bs" test.
For example, I love Ice Strike Invoker but it's pretty awful at bossing especially being melee trying to dodge everything and weave in attacks. I modified people's flicker strike builds so that I retained 90%+ of my set-up and had a skill that could chunk bosses for 25-50% based on how lucky my charges were. Obviously, the full flicker set-up one shots all bosses no question but for me it was a good middle ground.
Edit: Also, weapon sets and set passive points are built-in mechanics of the game and I'm sure your build would work if you did more research
this is the reason why i stopped playing ice shot, i just couldn't find a boss killer i liked with it and that makes sense together.
glacial bolt on a weapon swap crossbow works, but then why not just optimize glacial also for clear. LA works, but then LA is just better for mapping too. etc etc
