Is the game more fun after cruelty?
I've pretty much have not found any upgrades since act one. I'm in the wetlands in act 3. Been running out of motivation to keep going, probably has to do with doing the same stuff over again. Thinking of trying to stick it out. Is it worth it ?

Hard to believe you haven't found upgrades since act 1 when there are act 3 items with base stats higher than well rolled act 1 items.
Make your own upgrades. Throw transmutes/augs on anything you could use as an upgrade, then regal/exalts if you get something decent.
Does it get better? Idk what you mean by that... you'll always be killing monsters and farming for upgrades at every stage of the game.
End game is the weakest part of the game right now in my opinion.
no, it is not worth it. stop playing
depends who you ask, I love the leveling and think the endgame is meh, some people absolutely hate the leveling and love the late game, one thing is for sure, its much faster the 2nd time you go through
To tell you the truth, campaign is the best part of the game right now. Endgame sucks
I upgrade using currency as I go, I got a divine act 1 cruel :)
Honestly dude if you having that much trouble in act 3 this may not be the game for you...maybe not even the right genre. Like you just kill monsters loot and craft for the entirety of all arpgs, diablo, path, last epoch, fate series, etc... that concept stays the same. I never feel real enjoyment till i get to endgame and my build is halfway decent...i hate the climb. But getting to that point is very fulfilling because of how hard it is, and then it gets even more fun when you keep tweaking your build bit by bit and get stronger and stronger slowly turning into a god. Then my absolute favorite is making a second character after getting lots of currency and just running through as a god right off jump street. If you choose to keep playing i suggest a strict meta build guide, then start a new character and play what you want.
There's Shops where you can buy upgrades with gold.
