I like Rattling Sceptres, and came up with this
I really like Rattling Sceptres, which is mainly a holdover from how much I enjoyed Witch in 0.1.
- This dropped with T1 +16% Attack Speed and I Fractured it in.
- I then Chaos'ed +4 Minion Skills pretty quickly.
- Had a few spare Sinistral's and hit a spread of flat +Dmg.
- Whittled the Crit Damage Bonus, which is only T3 I guess but I didn't want to get a crappy Suffix over iLvl 78 and back the +skills into a Whittling corner.
I know there's no Spirit on it, but with an amulet perhaps? There is room to maybe go for broke with the T4 Fire Damage and T4 Crit Damage Bonus if someone were in the mood to gamble I suppose.
Again this was more a work of curiosity and my fondness for the weapon type than trying to min-max necessarily. What do you all think? Would this be of use to a Witch still this season?

No spirit No chance.
For minion users with scepters its a big 3 of absolute stats for end game.
- Minion level +4
- Spirit
- Allies in presence deal increased damage
If it don't got these go next. As for "no spirit, but an amulet" why not just have both why settle for 1, so everyone would auto pass on this.
I use a rattling scepter in my main weapon set with my chaos lich. Mostly because I like having explosive distractions and blockers to soak damage.
But even for me, spirit and presence radius are my top priorities. It gives me extra passive defenses and makes my blasphemy aura extend off screen to ensure that everything is slowed and enfeebled.
It’s just not good enough. No spirit means all that flat damage is going to less minions. The scaling can’t keep up
the flat damage is really good for the vaal spectres
Not bad, no spirit doesn't mean it's worthless. My build got other sources of spirit to the point I can even run 23 storm mages plus other 7 minions for muster gem. If I weren't so poor I would buy it from you.
