Current top1000 ladder class distribution

Melee still kinda sucks compared to to range in poe2
Infernalist is so weird. Why do both witch ascendency feel like should belong to other classes?
The problem is that 95% of the games skills, supports, passive tree, etc are just don't feel good to play or use, because it's not just that a third of people are playing deadeye, they're all playing the exact same build too. There's literally like 4-5 builds in the entire game that feel good to play, everything else is slow, clunky, does no damage and feels squishy. It's hard to even put this in to words because it's literally just everything about the game causing people to gravitate to these few builds.
- 334 Rangers
- 252 Witches
- 203 Sorceresses
- 89 Monks
- 76 Warriors
- 46 Mercenaries
I think they should nerf Gas Grenade again, too op.
Im in that chrono life. It’s fun but feels like they were really afraid it would be broken, and wanted to make sure it was balanced. Lines like “This skills cast speed can’t be increased” on temporal rift. Also time stop is straight ass, I unspeced it. Bosses can invincibility frame it when they do their moves and mobs jump at you from off screen and are unaffected.
the 5 chronomancers are misclicks
Most people are echoing the same sentiment - Deadeye is fun because it's fun to zoom around in maps and clear quickly. I think at the core of the experience, it's important for your class to feel like it's 'made it' in the end game and for the gameplay loop to be substantially easier than your first time going through Act 1.
2 definitely has slowed the gameplay in the beginning down which is nice, but I don't think it's sustainable to have that kind of gameplay in maps. The ramp up right now for a class like deadeye, infernalist, stormweaver, and even invoker to some extent (more resource juggling though) is fun...I hope the goal is to try and get the other classes to that same level of strength in the end game.
bloodmage is dogshit right now and I don't even wanna make a new charac because of how painful to level through the new campaign system
Kind of amusing how it seems with every class, one ascendancy is pretty/super good and the other is borderline worthless.
Boy, never saw THAT coming.
Kudos to 15 Bloodmages who made it to top 1000. Really impressive stuff
Acolytes rise up 😤
I'm playing chronomancer (as a cold sorc) and while the ascendancy offers no offensive power, the time rewind by itself is enough to make me basically immortal outside of one shots.
The time stop is fun but doesn't seem too useful, especially since you still take dot and lingering effects. It's basically free dps window once during a boss fight.
I'm not sure whether fully investing in recoup is worth it or not, it seems a bit contradictory with time rewind, since you'll rewind before the recoup so you could end up hurting yourself if you time it wrong. The slow didn't seem very impactful but it's always a bonus.

What are Chayula monks running?
Chronomancer is my clear favorite archetype of mages in fantasy...
Yet it seems that much of the benefits they gain here is just.. support? Which so far in my play through, absolutely has not been needed..
And that is such a bummer for me, that I decided to go with stormweaver instead...
Is this just level/exp% ladder?

The only one I'm really surprised about is Blood Mage, but I'm not surprised that it's rough to work around such a HP Mechanic, in a game where Life seems more important than ever
and not at all surprised by 'Dark Monk' and Chronomancer, they probably don't have any clue what to do with such a build
Bow builds are a popular archetype, easy to understand and strong. Deadeye is no surprise, especially as it's the first time most of us have played PoE2 EA.
Personally I'm playing Spark Deadeye, and I would love to know what percentage of Deadeyes are non bow/crossbow builds.
before launch, the most appealing classes to me were Chronomancer, A of Chayula, and Blood mage. :D
the ascendancies feel really strange. almost all of them. they feel.. underpowered? maybe it's just me looking at it from PoE 1 perspective where you feel good to pick one up.
Here, I feel more like: This has to do something in the future right?
Did not expect gemling to be that low
We are the 13 warriors! The 13 warbringers! Our class sucks, we don't have broken skills, sanctum? Ha! ToC? Ouch! But we keep going! (No really? There is something wrong with us?)
I really hope that first Blood Mage ascendancy node gets adjusted. It feels like you're actively nerfing yourself until you get further into the tree
This probably mean nothing, the top ascendancies just have builds that match pretty much 1:1 with PoE1. Once people know the campaign and start running more builds, this will change for sure.
I see.
Ranged

...
I am starting to see a pattern here
Good to know that I like the 3 least played once the most.
I want to say I told you to the people who said that gemling was op and needed a nerf
Is infernalist just comet triggered with something ?
ranger is just so fucking smooth to play, I love it.
15 blod mages - you mean 15 unascendent witches because only thing worth taking is 3% max life 1st small node...
Why deadeye so good?
Playing Bloodmage in maps is so risky, if you consume a lot of life and get hit the same time you are just dead.
Leef also feels underwhelming. The overflow is pretty nice tho when you get a lot of orbs
I must be missing something… where are for example “Warrior” and “Witch”?
Would anything change if it was easier to get 8 points for the tree ?
Yet, there’s only 4 deadeye’s in the top 20 though.
I just got Acolyte on Monk, got the bonus chaos dmg, but I don't really see any difference. Maybe it gets better when I get some chaos dmg nodes, but idk.
Surprised blood mage isn't last, that class sucks ass
Why acolyte is so low? Is it too hard? Too complex? I wanted to try it and I will since I love dark/chaos theme and I'm a bit tired of the usual elemental thing seen everywhere
Have you guys messed around with infernalist other than minions?
I’m not afraid or ashamed to admit that blood witch was just to hard for me so I started a ranger and abandoned my level 46 witch
Respect to my bros playing acolyte of chayula, we might not be as strong as invokers but at least we're cooler.
I'm still going to stick with it, I'm building similar to the normal tempest flurry monks and hoping that with more ascendancy points the chaos damage can scale much better to get to the same dps but we'll wait and see. Maybe before that someone will crack the code and find a busted build for it
Ranged, ranged, ranged, on 1, 2, 3 who whould have thought.
Where is this data from…?
I wanted chronomancer, but it felt like I had to rework my whole build from that point on when I had to make the choice and stormweaver just made it stronger. so here we are, a stromweaver.
And this is HCSSF?
I am surprised that Blood Mage is so low on the List, crit goes brrrt
I am surprised that Blood Mage is so low on the List, crit goes brrrt
OK so maybe that explains why my Chronomancer is only Act 3 while all my mates are running maps...
