Any suggested builds for Chober Chaber, which allows minion damage to increase your damage? (And how do you reach these stat requirements at level 33?)

Titan with Hulking Form would be the route I'd take. Wonder if Pain Offering would work with it.
I love Spiritual Aid and all associated effects, so please forgive the rambling.
Some things to consider! In PoE 1, this effect is on the passive tree in the form of Spiritual Aid, so any build that wants it can path to or anoint it. There's also way more access to minion damage in that game, on the tree and on gear. Because there's actually not that much minion damage on the PoE 2 passive tree, it means the rest of your gear that you would use to compensate for that becomes that much more necessary.
Important to remember as well, is that minion damage scaling applied to you is a generic "% increase to damage" that functions the same regardless of the skill or damage type. This means if you want to play a build using multiple elements, or chaos and an element, and scale all of them at the same time, this would be a route to do that.
However, I think the big pitfall we might fall into is pidgeon-holing ourselves into minion damage scaling instead of using this as an opportunity to gain additional damage for something else. Witch gets minion/spell damage nodes in her starting area that gain 153% total spell damage to you, as opposed to 64% otherwise. There's not many ripe opportunities like that on the tree, but it does mean that if minion damage is near you when nothing else is, you can pick it up with no downsides.
Another thing to think about is the opportunity cost. If you're using this, you're not using a weapon that adds gem levels, and gem level scaling is the king in PoE 2 for ALL builds right now. You will feel that power loss, I think.
I got this last night and noticed there is just not that many minion damage nodes, seems kinda scuffed
Has everyone been sleeping on those glove that allow str to satisfy any stat on melee weps..AND skills?????I was sure I would have seen some crazy abuse by now but maybe I am hyping it up more than it is.
Maybe minion legionnaire?
If I find one of these, I'll probably try it out for DD.
I was thinking corrupting cry but if you take Giant's Blood thats 300 int. There are some minion nodes in that general area so it does have some tree support.
I think who wants this is a minion mancer witch who's invested into unstable minions but magic like firewall and demo minions to do most the damage it's free scaling at that point.
It lets you scale stuff like corrupting cry which is kinda hard to scale after you got all the tree nodes for it
Gemling with the node that applies your dex to your minions. Spirit and dex stack. Scale your cross bow and minions at the same time
there might be something interesting once druid or the templar comes out
probably not worth it right now
It's pretty much designed for the STR/INT section of the tree (the only one we don't have a character for yet). I'd wait for druid/templar...
In PoE1, this effect (though it was aΒ notable on the passive tree, which is much cheaper than a weapon slot) was most useful for the fact that "minion damage" modifiers usually don't specify any other type, so it just becomes generic "damage" - which can apply to things which are normally very difficult to scale.
If this works with support gems, this could be good?
