I’ve seen the modifiers on npcs before but it’s never considered them monsters in my game before. That’s a crappy bug.
Iron Citadel can't be completed period. I think it may have something to do with the fact the Hooded One talks to Geonor before he actually dies.
I mean if you killed the boss and got the frags shouldn’t really matter if you complete the map, on copper citadel if you kill the boss and portal out without killing all the rares you can’t get back to the map because the second phase is off the map

I've had 1 monster remaining with no expedition on Iron Citadel. I feel like the boss counts as 2 monsters with 1 death.
Iron Citadel is broken. Today I "failed" 3 of them because it didn't count it as complete after killing all rares and boss
That's not it. Citadels are just bugged in general. You can't complete them most of the time.

That's an interesting theory but I don't think that counts, unless it only counts inconsistently cause I've definitely had Rog or the others with "rare modifiers" on them and still get map completion
Why does it matter? You only get 1 try anyway.

Do you get anything in maps if you kill every enemy?
I had one monster left in a map once and opening a rare chest cleared it. Left me a bit baffled but that’s early access I guess.
